LEGO fan and flickr.com user Rat Dude a.k.a. ratm0nk3y who is known for his impressive and huge capital space ships most of which are blogged in our "best capital ships" compilation page shared this great ancient Greek galley in his photo-stream. The design and texturing resembles the historical ships very much. Custom figures are looking very cool too. The ship also has a fully decorated interior with lots of figures in it.

(Invoke the gods) is including standart ancient greek elements with good presentation. Perfectly builded temple lynig on the top of the rocks and details of soldiers are perfect.

There are ten stages of art from prehistoric ages to Contemporary art stage. Every stage was decorated with different architecture and symbolized by unique minifigure. LEGO Fan and flickr.com member legophthalmos has recently shared his latest MOC with Spartan Minifigure which was a member of LEGO Minifigure Series 2. the Liberation of Palmyra has a good angle and perfect lightning. Passed very long time to see such a good MOC with perfect posing of these minifigures. I mostly liked the ruined building with cheese slopes and 1x1 tile pieces.

Andrei has shared this cute little diorama of the greek legend of Troy which involves a battle between ancient Greeks and the Anatolians as seen in the Hollywood movie "Troy". The beach and the gates of the Troy is built in incredibly small scale and it is really successful. Greek triremes are built with dark brown animal "frog" pieces and the wooden horse is built using droid and mini-figure arm pieces. The waves are built with small 3x1 wedgeplates which I haven't seen before and it worked really well too. Overall this is a really clever and impressive creation that you have to look closer to see even more small techniques and details for yourself.
