https://www.flickr.com/photos/126524787@N05/32012707145
Upload time for this years CCC ended yesterday and our photo galeries are filled with many great creations lately. One of the most beautiful MOC's this lovely historical sail-ship was built by flickr.com user and Classic-castle member Aardwolf a.k.a.  aardwolf_83. I especially liked the round hull of the ship decorated with numerous details like shields, chains and custom items. The ship also has a beautiful interior too. Check out the builders photo-stream for more photos.

Lion Knight Manor by David Leest

LEGO fan and flickr.com user David Leest a.k.a. Deviet recently shared this beutiful historical vignette in his photo-stream. This great MOC called Lion Knight Manor was built for this years Colossal Castle Contest Medieval Manor category. The wooden section is my favorite part of this creation. The builder used a beautiful technique to create the small waterfall using opaque white and blue slope/curved slope pieces.

Dreadful Castle of the CCC by Toltomeja

Dracula Castle - CCC XIII

LEGO fan and flickr.com member Toltomeja shared a perfect castle named Dracula Castle. He originally created another Dracula Castle for CCC. After contest, he wanted to redesign it and that is the result. I mostly liked the pathway of the old looking mysterious castle. Therefore fancy arches over the windows are perfectly designed.

Dracula Castle by Toltomeja

LEGO Fan and Classic-castle.com member Toltomeja shared this unique Dracula Castle in his flickr.com photostream. This MOC is built for this years CCC Contest. The castle has both a high quality interior and exterior design. I also like the foliage around the building as well. Maybe there could be more than one shade of green used for building the trees. For the roof tiles, the creator used flipper utensil pieces which looks quite nice.

Interior of the Castle is full of small details and even there is Dracula himself.

Giant Skull built on the rocks

http://www.classic-castle.com/events/contests.html

LEGO Fan and Flickr.com member W. Navarre shared this great MOC is his account. This is actually a Fortress built for this years CCC contest. The shaping and natural look of the rock-skull makes this creation unique. The other side of the creation (the interior of the fortress) is also full with many nice details like siege equipment and a cage with skeleton in it.

Amazing medieval fantasy buildings from César Soares

Flickr member and LEGO Fan César Soares a.k.a. Cesbrick shared these magnificent medieval buildings (cottages, tower, tree-house, windmill, etc...) created for this years CCC contest in his Flickr account during previous Month. He have built at least ten MOC's like these ones and each of them are really high quality. Especially the modelling on the roofs and details on the structures and terrain are incredible. His dioramas are full of action and minifigure posing is also very well done. Check out his Flickr galleries to explore more of his amazing works.

Unusual shaped blue colored roof makes this house extraordinary.

Colorful dioramas full of details makes the creations even more exciting. The windmill built in a round shape and beautiful texturing looks great by its own.

Explosion on the wall of Helms Deep by Grant Davis

Flickr member and LEGO Fan Grant Davis a.k.a. Takkata1 shared this amazing diorama built for this years CCC contest depicting the explosion scene from the epic movie The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (2002). This is one of the most realistic presentation of an explosion I have ever seen so far. The creator did a great job using the reddish back light and the broken wall pieces are very nicely shaped and correctly positioned for the photograph that you don't see the original light source. The detailing on the wall and terrain look also very good.
