This great statue of iconic comic book and cartoon character Obelix from The Adventures of Asterix was created by flicker user George Panteleon a.k.a. ZetoVince. Quarter dome pieces are mainly used for shaping of the face and the wedge-slope pieces are used the built the hair and the mustache. The shaping is really impressive and very accurate to the character depicted in comics.

This awesome world war I fighter planet model, namely Eddie Rickenbacker's Spad S.XIII was recently shared by flickr.com user Daniel Siskind, who is also the owner of Brickmania (where tons of different custom creation including this one are for sale). The shaping and coloring of the vehicle is awesome and historically accurate for a minifigure-scale LEGO creation. The decals/stickers are also very nice. The builder also shared a beautiful air-battle action photo scene in his photo-stream where this plane attacks a German Fokker Dr.1 from behind and bricks fall of the damaged plane.

This 32-Gun Frigate from 1700's is shared by Eurobricks.com member and brickshelf.com user Imperial Shipyards a.k.a. MoritzK. The shaping and the colors are really accurate to the historial ship of the era (1760-1780). For more photos check out the brickshelf gallery.
