Beautiful 18th Century Building, Port Woodhouse

Talented MOC'er and flickr.com user Ayrlego who is known for great historical cretions recently shared this beautiful building MOC namely "Campaign Planning, Port Woodhouse" in his photostream. The building itself has the same base structure from a previous MOC of the builder, "South West Frontier". The architectural style of the building fits greatly to both ocasions and it proves that the small details like vegetation and the style of roof changes the mood of the creation completely. In this MOC I especially like the inclusion of bright green vegetation together with dark pink flowers which reminds me of houses in aegean/mediterranian climate areas like Italy, Greece or Turkey.

Incredible Western Diorama by Metin Delikurt

After retirement of the Lone Ranger theme in 2014, It's a true that a big portion of the AFOL community wish for the return of the western theme from the 90's with a modern take. Meanwhile, talented LEGO MOC builder Metin Delikurt a.k.a. medel_brick shared this incredible western diorama in his instagram account. The diorama consist of many great buldings with full interiors as well as a pretty great terrain work. Each of the buildings are so detailed could be considered as a seperate MOC's themselves. My favourite details are windmill and water tower which I think gives the true feel of the era. There are also a lot of small scenes distributed around the diorama like the gold digging operation, native american camp, soldier squad and many more. With all the details, minifigures and tons of animals this diorama looks like a real living western town. Be sure to check out the builders instagram page for more detailed photos of the diorama and other beautiful creations.

A great design of a Medieval Cog for a Fantasy Setting

I'm always a fan of historical accuracy when it comes to design of buildings and vehicles. LEGO fan and flickr.com user BardJaskier shared this awesome design of a medieval style cog in a fantasy setting. According to description this diorama is a MOC for acollaboration project by "Zbudujmy To! LUG" members. The design of the outer shell of the vessel is really amazing together with tons of small details like the ladders built by string pieces and reddish brown shields as decoration. Check out the builders photostream for more photos.

Amazing Island Fortress Built on an Unusual Baseplate

This amazing castle MOC, named island fortress was built and shared by LEGO fan and flickr.com user Khang Huynh. The colors and fine details are great on this one but what it makes it so unique is that the fortress is built on a tan colored duplo raised baseplate. I have never seen that part used in a MOC before and I think its a really nice part use in this case. I also like design of the tree and addition of the statue. Be sure to check out the builders flickr photo album for the creation to take a closer look.

A Great Gatehouse MOC by Jako of Nerogue

This impressive gatehouse MOC was recently shared by flickr.com user and LEGO Fan Jako of Nerogue in his photostream. Panzerkampfwagen V Panther by Panzerbricks

Flickr.com user Panzerbricks a.k.a. Legotron who is known for his great WW2 creations shared another great historical tank model Panzerkampfwagen V Panther in his photo-stream. Panther is one of the most important and iconic war-machines used by the Nazi Germany. Maybe its not famous as the Tiger tanks but it is historically (arguably) the most effective tank after American M4 Sherman in WW2. The overall design of the hull is great as the previous creations of  Panzerbricks. I especially liked the design of the turret where the connection of the barrel to the turret is cylindrical like the original.
