LEGO BAM Valentine's Day Special Minifigures

Well known LEGO blog, bricksfanz.com recently shared these images of LEGO BAM Valentine's Day Special Minifigures on their website and flick.com photostream. The magenta colored teddy bear is absolutely my favourite, which use the heargear mold of the original lego movie cmf panda figure. Click on the images to enlarge.

Teddy bear also have a zipper printing on the back of its torso.
The figures are sold as a pack of three.

Vintage Wedding Car by Pixeljunkie

This wonderful vintage wedding car is created by talented builder and flickr.com user Pixeljunkie. My favorite part is the shaping of the mudguards. Chrome coated pieces look also great together with white tires. Using minifigure hand pieces as handles are another small and creative addition to the MOC. Check out the builders photo-stream for more photos of the the married couple.

News: Photo for LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 17 revealed at Toy Fair

LEGO has recently revealed the box of the upcoming Collectible Minifigures Series 17 in the their preview event in New York Toy Fair. This high-quality photo and names was shared by the Brick-Show. According to them possible names of the mini-figures are:

Top row from left to right: Surfer Boy, Gourmet Chef, Hot Dog Vendor, Elf Maiden, Circus Strongman, Yuppie, Veterinerian, and (possibly) Highwayman. Bottom row from left to right: Connoisseur, Butterfly Girl, Roman Gladiator, Corn Cob Guy, Retro Space Hero, Dance Instructor, Battle Dwarf and Rocket boy.

The Brick Fan has released a feel guide for finding the figures you want in blind bags. In my opinion this series contains very nice figures and also below average figures at the same time. There are many new accessories, recolored pieces and animals that will make the LEGO fans very happy. The rocket boy and the corn cob guy will be possibly the most favorites among the fans because of their body-wear accessories. French bulldog that will come out together with Connoisseur will be nice addition to LEGO's dog species list.

News: Photos from LEGO DC Super Hero Girls Sets!

Official photos of three sets and their mini-dolls from the new LEGO DC Super Hero Girls theme based on the TV-series with the same name were released recently on the internet. The figures look amazingly colorful and cute. I'm sure that girls will love them but I'm not sure the boys will like them as much as the girls did. Personally I liked the Bat-girl and the Poisson Ivy the most, but honestly I would still prefer the classic mini-figure versions more. If you haven't seen yet check out this new dimensions set with Bat-girl figure in it. Overall the sets are looking great with various recolored pars and new elements. It would be a nice addition to any Friends collection for sure. You may click on the photos to enlarge:

Importance of Minifigure Usage on MOC's

Curious Conversations

LEGO enthusiast and flickr.com member Andrew JN has recently shared his latest MOC, Curious Conversations. MOC covered with perfect roof technique with standard Technic pins.

I also liked the cobblestoned earth design and usage of minifigures. All characters are perfectly designed and located on the MOC. Building technique of the coach is also spectacular.
