It is a challenge to build organic structure with LEGO bricks since most of hte LEGO pieces are blocky. Some talented builders manage to create wonderful creations using different building techniques and great part usage. One example for such a nice MOC is this prehistoric sea animal model, Ammonoidea Fictum built by flick.com user Leonid An. The tentacles and the eyes are done greatly bu the shell of the creature is the highlight of the MOC.

Perfect colors of nature

Today I prefer to share a creation that caught by our MOC exploration ship. Approaching Kilas Dirth which was created by just another LEGO Fan from flickr.com, The Professor. His imagination let him to create an awesome architectural modal with an assassination scene. He build a giant rock to fill environment and perfectly use colors of nature. I mostly liked building technique of arch gateway with a rounded stairs. Also Hotdog Guy wants to celebrate our Easter in this MOC.

These brick-built life-size statues of birds of prey were built and shared by flikr.com user Joe Perez a.k.a MortalSwordsman whose creations we blogged before like the sprinting black panther. The modeling on these birds are inreadibly realistic and the head sculpturing is amazing. According to the description these statues were built for Bright Bricks

Golden eagle is bigger than the pelegrine falcon as it should be according to the real sizes of the birds. The creator used many shades of brown and managed to make it look perfectly natural.

Excellent Natural Forms by Schfio

Today I am very happy since I just discovered a very talented builder's flickr page, named Schfio. I also feel a little shame because I am very late to enjoy his creations. He builds animals and other natural form mostly by using SNOT. Even though he is not using many sophisticated molds, he can construct perfect forms. His part selection's simplicity is in harmony wi.th the purity of his creations and his area of interest. I personally congratulate Schfio and gladly share some of his beautiful creations.

LEGO Fan and Flickr member Michał Kaźmierczak a.k.a. Migalart who is the creator of the recently shared amazing space dioramas like Inferno and Cold Moonbase has shared a magnificent diorama of the planet Pandora from the Movie Avatar (2009). The detailing and size of the creation is really impressive. I especially like the diversity of the colors depicting the natural life on Pandora. If you look closely to the photo of the MOC you can see the amazing micro scale aircraft as well.
