Xylem Attack Craft, Star Fighter with an Unusual Shape

This unusually shaped but amazing at the same time star fighter design was built by talented LEGO MOC'er and flick.com user Inthert. I personally seldom like creations built using lime color but the builder did a great job combining the lime green with bluish dark gray. Ofcourse the major outstanding property of this model is its shape but in addition to that the vehichle includes play functions as well. Check out this video to see them. Also be sure to check out the builder photo-stream for tons of amazing builts and building techniques.

Rebel Assault Frigate by Carter Witz

When we see micro-scale capital ship models from Star Wars universe, they are often modeled after imperial ships. This one is a great exception. This greatly shaped micro-scale Rebel Assault Frigate was recently shared by talented builder and flickr.com user Carter Witz in his photo-stream. Check out the original vehicle to see how accurate the MOC actually is. I really like the greebling in the middle and the addition of star fighters.

A-10 Asimov, An amazingly shaped Starship MOC

We do not often blog gdigital creations, and when we do we try to share extraordinary good designs. This one is absolutely one of them. The shaping and detailing of the vehichle is really amazing. Some of the pieces are non-production colors in my knowledge, other than that small detail this MOC is flawless. I especially like the piping details and incredibly detailed engine design as well as the color blocking on the stripes. The builder, noblebun is a very talented Ship designer and his flickr.com photostream is full with great MOC's.

Stargate Daedalus by Peter Ray

LEGO fan and flick.com user Peter Ray a.k.a. peter-ray recently shared this awesome micro-scale model of Daedalus from the Sci-fi franchise Stargate. The shaping and color selection are very accurate to the original version. My favourite sections are the fighter hangars on sides of the ship. Although there is only one photo shared by the builder yet, this creation looks really impressive. We are looking for more photos and details.

Aleginator Class Battlecruiser by Martin Latta

This great battlecruiser MOC was recently shared by LEGO fan and flick.com user Martin Latta a.k.a. thire5, who is known for his great Star Wars and sci-fi creations and was blogged here before with his great Battle of Hoth diorama. Although it is not common use, white-orange color combination looks beautiful on this ship. I always like micro-scale spaceships with nice hull-shape and details and this one is a great example. The hangar entrance on top of the cruiser is my favourite part on this MOC.

This amazingly movie-accurate UCS-style minifigure-scale U-Wing model was recently shared by flickr.com user Mirko Soppelsa. This is absolutely the best version among the U-Wing MOC's so far. The details and the texture of the vehicle is really impressive. The shaping and coloring are also very accurate to the original model seen in the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). I especially liked the engines which were built with various cylinderical pieces and nice techniques were used to combine them.

In the description the builder defined this vehicle as a middle range fighter. I think this fighter resembles to the Viper from the Battlestar Galactica. The clean look of the yellow sections together with gribbles on the gray sections looks great. Small mechanical details like hoses and landing gear make the creation even more interesting.

The builder is known for his great Star Wars MOC's and previously build other great Tie-fighter variations like TIE BomberRoyal Guard TIE InterceptorMining Guild TIE and many more. The design of the TIE Defender looks really challenging and hard to get the correct 120 degree angles correctly. Koensayr YT-T3 Invader, an Armed Light Troop Transport by .Tromas

https://www.flickr.com/photos/tromas/27916647301/in/contacts/

LEGO fan and flickr.com user .Tromas who was blogged multible times in our blog with his outstanding space ships like "Draygon" and "Novafire", shared this great MOC, Koensayr YT-T3 Invader in his photo-stream. The shaping of the ship obviously resembles the Y-Wing from Star Wars but this one has a different tactical function than the original. As you may now the original Y-wings serve as bomber and heavy fighters in the Star Wars universe but this ships primary role is troop transport. The top of the back-section could be removed to revealed the interior which I like very much. With the smooth shaping of the hull and with the design of the engines this ship is very impressive in my opinion.
