Amazing Sci-Fi Weapon, Rifle 12: Wayland Terraformers by W. Navarre

 

It's not easy to build real life object using LEGO pieces because of the geometrical limitations of the pieces and connection point. LEGO fan and MOC'er W. Navarre did a great job building this awesome sci-fi weapon replica called Rifle 12: Wayland Terraformers. The shaping of the build is really great as well as the color choices on the main body and stock. Grip of the weapon looks also very ergonomic. The ammunition belt is another nice addition. The builder was recently blogged with another great MOC, Mad Max: Run Wild, so be sure sure to check that out too.

A-10 Thunderbolt II Model by Lennart C

This awesome and realistic A-10 Thunderbolt II model was recently shared by flickr.com user and MOC'er Lennart C a.k.a. Everblack. who is best known for his incredible car MOC's. The shaping of the wings and the body is really great. It's always hard to create the right shape while building in minifigure-scale. The builder did a really great job on that. Timber Wolf from Mechwarrior by Kale Frost


LEGO Fan and talented builder Kale Frost shared this impressive mecha MOC in his flickr.com photostream. If you ever played or remember the Mechwarrior games you will instantly recoqnize this iconic vehichle equipped with all kinds of weaponary. Thc creator also added a small terrain detailed with ruins for the mecha to stand on which is also a nice addition.

This realistic McDonnell-Douglas F-18C Hornet Model was recently shared by LEGO fan and flickr.com user Dornbi who is known for his great brick-built vehicle models. The shaping and the decals are accurate to the original version of the fighter used by the Swiss air-force. Although I am not a big fan of cockpits built with transparent bricks/slopes, the technique suits this model very well. I also really like the retractable landing gears and foldable wings.

Unusual Mecha with Two Pilots


This unusual mech with two cockpits was built and shared by flickr.com user tankm. The shaping of the mecha is looking like a chicken mech with those thin legs and two-fingered feet. I like the yellow-black color-scheme very much because it reminds me the first Blacktron theme. The back-section of the mecha is also covered with many details including thrusters.

A Secret Weapon from Historical Fantasy


Talented MOC builder from Germany, markus19840420 shared recently this vignette with unusual medieval age weapon MOC, a huge balista in his flickr.com photo-stream. This MOC was built as a free built for the medieval fantasy RPG "Die Neun Reiche" in Imperium der Steine Forums. Actually I wonder a little bit who could draw a bow this size because the drawing mechanism stand in a position much higher than a minifigure can reach. My best guess will be a giant or troll could be able use this huge weapon.

Orgrim Doomhammer from WoW


Talented MOC builder and flickr.com user LEGO 7 built and recently shared this impressive big figure MOC, Orgrim Doomhammer which is a World of Warcarft character. The shaping and the accessories of the figure are all done amazingly well. I especially liked how the hands and the face is modeled. The realistic and organic look of the body is achieved by using lots curved slope pieces all around the body. The base was also built nicely with the stone statues etc.

Exclusive Look to the Life Size Death Trooper from Rogue One


Marcus Errico who is a Deputy Editor, Yahoo Entertainment shared the exclusive photos of life size Death Trooper from the upcoming Sci-fi movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). According to the Yahoo movies page This trooper was created with 27,202 bricks. The brickmasters who conceived and built the model stated that the project took 116 hours to design and then 232 hours to complete. It stands over 6 feet and weights a relatively light 134 pounds.

Vertical Tank or a Mech


This great mecha was recently shared by LEGO fan and flickr.com user Guy Smiley in his photo-stream. The builder called this creation a vertical tank. The shaping of the legs and the central section is really done well. I especially like the upper parts of the legs which are built using different flag pieces. Shallow Water Assault Patrol Enforce by Joshua Brooks

Flickr.com user and LEGO fan Joshua Brooks a.k.a. JBIronWorks recently shared this naval military ship MOC in his photo-stream. I like the general shaping of the boot as well as the interior. The boots design looks like the modern coast guard boats but in gray-yellow color scheme instead of orange.  The vegetation on the background also looks interesting especially the tree in the middle looks great.

The interor of the ship is accessible by removing the roof section of the boat. The interior look very clean because of its studless design and it has high play-value as well.
