Impressive Battle on Rhen Var Diorama by Markus

LEGO fan and flickr.com user markus19840420 who is well known for his great Star Wars and historical MOC's recently shared this impressive battle diorama based on the video game series: Star Wars: Battlefront. The vehicles and the hanger amazing great but I also loved the terrain formations. Snow patterns on dark colored look really cool. According to the description this huge creation takes 10 months to build and includes 250.000 parts.

The hangar itself is full of classic Rebel vehicles like Y-wings, X-wings and Snow speeders.

X-Plane by Sylon-tw

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Sylon-tw recently shared this outstanding futuristic plane in his photo-stream. The shaping of this thing resembles a little bit to the X-wing from the Star Wars universe but there is a obvious difference on the curvature and the connection of the wing. I like the overall look and colors on this vehicle. The section I like the most are the air intakes on the sides of the plane. Parts, decorated with official LEGO stickers were also used properly around the MOC.

Denon's Stallion, a Star Wars Style Star Fighter

LEGO fan and flickr.com user BobDeQuatre recently shard this outstanding Star Wars style star fighter MOC in his photo-stream. This fan-made fighter called Denon's Stallion has a ARC-170 or X-wing like look with a very creative wing design. I like the overall design and cleanliness of this MOC very much. I also like that the builder used the sticker with the horse head figure from the set Lance's Mecha Horse (70312). The shaping of the nose section with the curved slopes looks very cool too. Check out the album for more photos.

Red Five X-wing by Angelo S.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/angelo_s/25606362720/

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Angelo S. shared his version of famous X-Wing Red Five from the movie Star Wars. I especially like this model because the shaping of the nose section was done movie-accurate. The detailing on the top of the engine section and the colored parts above the wings are done very nicely as well. Maybe the engine outlets could be better built with cylindrical parts but other than that this an outstanding model.

Epic Echo Base Scene by markus

LEGO Star Wars Fan and flickr.com member markus19840420 has recently shared his latest creation of epic scene from Episode V. He created an Echo Base to show his master builder skills which includes huge amount of details in it. He cleverly used regular white slopes upside down and created a perfect hangar-looked design. Tehre is so much perfectly builded snowspeeders and X-Wings lying here. I really want to see this Echo Base with on my own eyes.

News! Summer 2016 Star Wars Sets Are Revealed!

We have collected photos of the Star Wars Summer 2016 sets from various sources from the internet for you. First of all lets start with the preliminary photos of the upcoming sets. Sorry for the very low resolution of the photos. These are the best quality photos we can currently find on the web. Click on the photos to enlarge them to see in better detail.

This one look very similar with the winter 2016 Star Wars set 75102 Poe's X-Wing Fighter but with a different color-scheme.

Next one is a clone turbo tank. This turbo tank look lot like 8098 Clone Turbo Tank  from 2010.

This set features a combat scene including a green-grey colored A-wing an advanced T-fighter (also known as Darth Vaders T-fighter). The set will include 4 minifigures and one of them will be a Darth Vader minifigure.

This one looks like some sort of Sith space ship.

There will be another large space ship for the Resistance.

First polybag is Kylo Rens ship in miniscale.

The second polybag is first order star destroyer in microscale

We found these more recently taken photos from the sets from a Toy convention. Shared in a youtube video by Geek Squad.

Finished designs of the new set boxes

New sets out of the boxes

New advent calendar is looking nice.

And the last photo is from a youtube video shared by spieletest where a LEGO employee talks about the new turbo tank.

Midi-size Poe's T70 X-Wing

Sometimes you don't have to build big MOC's to be create something great. LEGO and Star Wars MOC-builder Tim Goddard a.k.a. Rogue Bantha has recently shared this beautiful midi-size x-wing from the  Star Wars movie: The Force Awakens in his flickr.com photostream. The creator managed to capture the look of the movie vehicle very well. Usage of angled bar pieces creating the engine sections is also very creative.
