Interference 3V, an awesome starfighter by Nick Trotta

Talented LEGO builder and flickr.com user Nick Trotta a.k.a tardisblue who is well known for his amazing space MOC's shared this awesome vic viper variant namely Interference 3V in his photostream. The shaping and angles are incredible as the builders previous builds. The colorscheme looks very cool as well. My favourite sections are the engine intakes with dark blue lining and the cockpit. Check out the builders photostream for many more great MOC's. I can also check out the interview we have made with the builder in the past in our Guests of Honor section.

Impressive Tasmanian Devil MOC

This impressive model of the Looney Tunes character Tasmanian Devil was recently shared by talented LEGO MOC'er and flickr.com user timofey_tkachev in his photostream. Like many models he has built in the past, the shaping of the body and the face is really another level. If you want to build one for yourself, the builder also offered instructions for this piece in Rebrickable as well. Be sure to check out the builders MOC's for many other great models.

Realistic Flower Painting in LEGO Form

This colorful LEGO Flower MOC was recently shared by flickr.com user and LEGO Fan Birgitte Jonsgard a.k.a. birgburg in his photostream. In addition to he nice use of different colors and realistic shping I really like the use of a great variety of different parts including the utensil dish piece. According to the description the MOC is based on the painting of van Huysum at The Wallace Collection.

Xylem Attack Craft, Star Fighter with an Unusual Shape

This unusually shaped but amazing at the same time star fighter design was built by talented LEGO MOC'er and flick.com user Inthert. I personally seldom like creations built using lime color but the builder did a great job combining the lime green with bluish dark gray. Ofcourse the major outstanding property of this model is its shape but in addition to that the vehichle includes play functions as well. Check out this video to see them. Also be sure to check out the builder photo-stream for tons of amazing builts and building techniques.

UCS Jedi Starfighter by Martin Latta

This awesome UCS Scale Jedi Interceptor (Obi Wan's color scheme) model was built by talented LEGO MOC'er Martin Latta a.k.a. thire5 who is known for his amazing Star Wars creations. The shaping and the placement of the bricks to make the print pattern is exceptional. I also really like the design of the cockpit that includes four transparent pieces used together. According to the description below the photo this MOC contains 1675 pieces. I'm pretty sure that this is the most accurate version of the  iconic Star Wars starfighter from Episode III. Check out the builders photo-stream for many more awesome creations like this one.

Awesome Micro-scale Battle of Hoth Diorama

https://www.flickr.com/photos/137434519@N08/33635696483/

Star Wars fan and flickr.com user GolPlaysWithLego shared this awesome micro-scale Battle of Hoth scene from the Movie, Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back (1980) in his photo-stream. The awesomeness of the creation comes from the amazing shaping of the AT-AT walker. The body of the walker is especially well design with film-accurate angles. The legs and the head are also well designed. Small defense turret and T-47 Snowspeeders complete the diorama beautifully.

Panzerkampfwagen V Panther by Panzerbricks

Flickr.com user Panzerbricks a.k.a. Legotron who is known for his great WW2 creations shared another great historical tank model Panzerkampfwagen V Panther in his photo-stream. Panther is one of the most important and iconic war-machines used by the Nazi Germany. Maybe its not famous as the Tiger tanks but it is historically (arguably) the most effective tank after American M4 Sherman in WW2. The overall design of the hull is great as the previous creations of  Panzerbricks. I especially liked the design of the turret where the connection of the barrel to the turret is cylindrical like the original.

A photo from a 2015 event shows the amazing variety of vehicles built by Panzerbricks

Fountain of Blood in the Shape of a Girl

I like always liked brick-built sculpture-like MOC's. Flickr.com user and LEGO fan timofey_tkachev recently shared this beautiful MOC called "Fountain of Blood" in his photo-stream. It's always hard to replica organic shapes with LEGO pieces but the creator managed to do an impressive job on the shaping of the girl figure. I especially liked the hair section which was built with different types of tentacle and horn/tooth pieces.

Amazing Admiral Ackbar Bust by Eero Okkonen

This amazing and movie accurate bust MOC of Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (1983) movie was recently shared by talented LEGO builder and our latest guest of honor Eero Okkonen a.k.a. Pate-keetongu who is best known for his big-scale character creations. The detailing on face is very impressive on this one. The mouth and jowl are built incredibly but my favourite section is the eyes. Don't forget to check out guest of honor page where you will find our special interview with Eero Okkonen.
