Wooden Man by Eero Okkonen

Talented LEGO MOC'er and flick.com user Eero Okkonen who is well known for his amazing character MOC's recently shared this awesome and unusual MOC, Wooden Man in his photostream. Of course at first glance the character reminds us the Ents from Lord of the Rings franchise. The shaping of the figure is great as always and I really like the natural sitting pose. This time I feel that the MOC has also philosophical meaning behind it involving the relation of nature and technology. If you like high quality brickbuilt characters, be sure Check out the builders photostream for many more amazing MOC's.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member bigboy99899 created brillant MOC with some light effects and dozens of white pieces to create Emotions: Winter. I think this is the realistic winter scene I have ever seen was built by LEGO pieces. Leaves with snow loads simulate perfectly, snowy roof design and light effects are impressive too. This MOC totally makes me excited to create a snowy MOC.

Königsfeld Manor by Patrick Massey

Eurobricks member and flickr.com user Patrick Massey a.k.a. MassEditor recently shared this beautiful and colorful MOC in his photo-stream which was built for the Guilds of Historica storyline in Eurobricks. I really like the idea that some parts of the creation like the roads and the river run over the smooth black frame of the vignette. The manor building itself is a great historical MOC on his own. Lots of different plants and trees makes the creation even more interesting.

After a vacation week full of sun and sea we are back with awesome blogged creations. This beautiful micro-scale landscape was built by flickr.com user and LEGO fan Emil Lidé a.k.a. Full Plate. For those who don't know Avalonia is a fictional state in the Guilds of Historica in Eurobricks.com. The colors and the shaping of the trees are really great but my favorite section is the small pier on the shore of the small lake.

This astonishing MOC was recently shared by flickr.com user and LEGO fan David Hensel a.k.a. Legonardo Davidy, who is a well known builder for his great historical MOC's. Accordin to the description, with an estimated 20-25,000 bricks and a footprint of a 77cm square, this is his largest creation to date. In this large vignette he presented us the house of Radagast, the brown wizard from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The shaping of the house and the vegetation is really incredible beyond words. Using the tan colored droid arms turns out to be a great great idea and therefor the roof design is truly wonderful and natural looking.

According to te description this creation is the builders third Challenge MOC for the Imperium der Steine RPG "Die Neun Reiche". The elk itself is nicely shaped but what I like the most is the small lake and the vegetation. The tree in the midde looks very natural too.

This MOC is built for the Guilds of Historica collective story-line in Eurobrick.com. The design of the building is really great and fit very well with the design concept of Kaliphlin guild which is located in southern region of the Guilds of Historica continent. I especially like the main gate and textured wall design.

House on the tree or Tree below the house

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Letranger Absurde who is also creator of perfect LEGO busts has shared a different MOC named Tia Dalma's Shack. He used two hues of brown. Dark Brown / Reddish Brown combo is very well used on Treehouse and Tree. I mostly liked the pier with curved sloped walkway.

Endor Bunker Diorama from Return of the Jedi

LEGO Fan and flickr.com user The Dunedain98 share this outstanding diorama from the the movie Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. In the scene depicted in this MOC the rebels are attacking an imperial bunker where the shield generator for the Death Star is operated. The bunker itself is very movie accurate and the vegetation is done greatly. I also liked that the builder used the old style stormtroopers instead of the new Rebels-style versions. Check out the album for detail shots.

A Warm Breeze from the Orient

LEGO fan and flickr.com member brickbink shared these two great oriental building MOC's in his photo-stream. Both of the MOC's a are designed greatly using different texturing techniques. White motives on the mosque walls are done nicely with small arch pieces which is unique for this MOC. The color selection is very well done in both MOC's

I especially like the door section on this one. Using different sizes of arch pieces together to create a oriental looking gate is a great idea The terrain is also textured and detailed with small plants. I like this tree more than the tree in the mosque because the other one has a circular hole on the trunk.

Hanging out with the Mill

Baker's Mill

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Ben van Middendorp created a MOC in last summer that we never discovered before. He created a Baker's Mill which is full of different techniques amazes me when I saw it firstly. He combines rounded wall and rounded stairs techniques in one MOC and also created a perfect stork on the roof. I mostly liked floor technique which seems like a balcony, and several times I used on my designs.

A Creation for Those Who is Missing Old Castle Sets

Castle and Pirates Theme fan soccersnyderi created Arangr Castle: Spring to fulfill ours longing to old Castle themed sets. He used black and blue colors to create old fashioned Castle. Old colors mixed with new techniques in this MOC. soccersnyderi also designed fancy windows that I liked most. His little bird on the shortie tree is also very creative. Old fashioned castle minifigures also flavoured this creation too.

Perfect Use of Rounded Wall Technique

Lavenwood Vale

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Tirrell Brown created a middle-sized and also well-designed MOC named Lavenwood Vale on his own photo stream.

He not only used an old rounded wall technique which requires 1x2 bricks and 1x1 rounded bricks, but also used masonry bricks,1x1 rounded tiles, 1x2 tiles with stud on one side bricks to provide a perfectly-looking deformed wall.

I liked the color scheme of the MOC but mostly liked the shortie tree with Lavender Plant Leaves 4x3.
