Twin Saw, an Incredible Robot MOC

This awesome robot MOC, namely Twin Saw was recently shared by flick.com user and talented MOC builder alex_ mocs in his photostream. This design is so good that at first glance you may not understand that it's built with LEGO pieces. The structure is insanely well especially on the legs and body. The builder is well known for his great character creations which in my opinion can be identified as LEGO art rather than MOC's so dont forget to check out his other inspiring creations.

The Most Magnificent Bionicle Dragon Out There

We can all agree that the best looking MOCs are usually the ones that do not even look like it's made from LEGO pieces. And what better proof is there but DeesThe Cosmos? It is a true masterpiece incorporating elements from various colors, even the dinosaur tails and flippers back from the early 2000's. Wings and the underbody truely go to show how useful part spamming could be when trying to achieve organic shapes. And to be honest, various pedicles and horns and bits stemming from anywhere on this truly magnificent creature makes it look as if it doesn't conform to one single shape and what we observe in the pictures is just a momentary glimpse. Oh, and if you wanted to see how this MOC was put together, Dees also has a YouTube channel where he has a timelapse build of The Cosmos.

A Very Unique Cyborg, Lariska

There has been a while since we have shared a Bionicle/Buildable Action Figure Style MOC and this one is absolutely a great one in that category. This cyborg, namely "Lariska" with its unique turquise-pearl gray colorscheme and unique pieces was recently built and shared by filcik.com user and talented builder Logan W. a.k.a. Logey Bear. There are lots of pieces that are not easy to recognizable from various themes including Bionicle, Hero Factory, Galidor and more. Check out the builders photostream for many more interesting character figure MOC's.

Special Interview with Djordje Dobrosavljevic a.k.a. Djokson

This week we continue our series of Special Interviews with another very talented guest of honor is Djordje Dobrosavljevic a.k.a. Djokson. He is known for his colorful and amazingly shaped character figures, robots and creatures of various kinds. Photos from the work of our guest will be presented between the questions but you should check the builders Flickr photo-stream for tons of amazing creations.

Kaplan: We already know you are one of the best LEGO MOC'ers in the world. What can you tell us about yourself other than that?

Djordje: Thank you, I’m very flattered! My name is Djordje Dobrosavljevic, I’m 25 and I work as a translator. My main hobby is Lego but I’ve also got an interest in music and animation. Djokson is just a nickname I picked up over the years and it kind of stuck, so I ended up using it as an online handle too.

K:  Do you remember the day when you got your first LEGO set? Which set was it? And How old were you when you started playing with LEGO bricks?

D:  My first Lego set was 8534 Tahu from the original Bionicle line, I got it on release in 2001. I was seven back then.

K:  What is your best/unforgettable memory involving LEGO?

D: I’ve had plenty of amazing experiences owing to the hobby over the years but I think having my builds featured in the Masterpiece gallery at the Lego House probably takes the cake!

K: If you have to choose, what is your all-time favorite LEGO set?

D: That’s a tough one. I think I’m going to have to say 8563Tahnok, the Bohrok were an amazing set of figures.

Incredible Organic Creature Figure MOC: Cancer

This awesome organic looking alien creature MOC called "Cancer" was recently shred by talented builder and flickr.com user LEGO DOU Moko in his photo-stream. The creation does look so alien that it doesn't look like built with LEGO elements if you don't pay attention. At the same time the technique is really amazing and hard to understand how the builder connected all those special pieces together. The special pieces are from many different themes like Bionicle, Vikings, Hero Factory, Knights Kingdom and many more.

Nidhiki the Fallen Toa by Brick Brickolson

We don't see Bionicle MOC's very often but this one look pretty awesome. This impressive and evil looking MOC, namely Nidhiki the Fallen Toa is shared by LEGO fan and flickr.com user Brick Brickolson. I really like the small details around the head and the white claws which look really alien-like to me.
