LEGO fan Przemysław Czarnik a.k.a. siriusprzem shared this vibrant colored diorama of a medieval Joust scene in his flick.com photo-stream. I really like how colorful the MOC is and the smoothness of the kings seat section. Small details like training young lings on the corner, dragon suit guy running as a mascot and inclusion of so many castle figures added life to the MOC. f you want to see more great MOC's, I can recommend you to check out the builders previous great MOC's like the Osterode Rathaus, Aztecs pyramid and Monastery Brewery.

Today we have a very special guest from USA. He is considered by many LEGO fans as the best of the best MOC'ers in the world. Tyler Clites a.k.a. legohaulic has already done and continues to impress us with his amazing creations from a wide variety of themes and scales. He is good in building almost anything. He has so many great and inspiring creations that we can not fit all of them in this post so be sure to check out his photo-stream. Photos from the work of our guest will be presented between the questions.

Kaplan: You are one of the best LEGO MOC'ers in the world. What can you tell us about yourself other than that. What is your full name? What is your dayjob? Do you have any other hobbies or activities?

Tyler: My name is Tyler Clites. I am self employed. I love art, film, photography, theatre... pretty much any creative outlet. 

K: Do you remember the day when you got your first LEGO set? Which set was it? And How old were you when you started playing with LEGO bricks?

T: I remember having Duplo as a kid, but one day my mom brought home a value pack of small System sets when I was two. I remember being fascinated by the tiny bricks. And so the addiction began. 

This amazing castle MOC was built as a collaboration of flickr.com user and LEGO fans Ben Cossy and Eli a.k.a. É.Ɓ. for Brickvention 2017. The detailing on the wall is done greatly and there is also lots of impressive rock formations and vegetation on the diorama as well. Two shades of bluish-gray gives the wall a nice look together with black colored roof on top of the towers. There is also a small town inside the walls where you can see a lot of small interesting details. 

The smoke out of chimney is built using white snake pieces which is something I haven't seen before. I also like how the pavement around the tree was done. The 1x1 tile pieces are not fully stacked to the ground which makes it look more realistic for a historical scene. The river that flows through the village and the outer wall is also a great addition to the creation as well. Inside the keep there is also a hall full of figures and details as well. LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Robert4168/Garmadon and his friend Kai shared his latest collaborative MOC that includes two different forts with lots of war scenes. Forts are perfectly located to control passes through the rocky path. Greeneries and rocky landscapes add high detail to this collaborative Contral Oleon.

This amazing diorama depicting the Battle of Trenton (1776) was created as a collaborative build as part of HistoryLUG's larger America 1776 display for Brickfair Virginia. According to the description the terrain, fig posing and the dark red brick house are contributions of flickr.com user Gary Brooks a.k.a. Gary^The^Procrastinator who has shared the photos of the diorama; Ryan Keeth built that bluish gray colonial house in the middle, and the other two houses were built by Joshua Brooks. Charlie Nienaber was good enough to create some Hessians and his figs are coming forward in front of the house on the right. The diorama is really impressive with historically accurate building and custom figures.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member jsnyder002 shared his and his friend Isaac latest MOC that is a collaborative build for Brickfair, Virginia. MOC includes a harbormasters house and a tower with great interior design. Landscape is very neat and successfully designed. The wall is also full of textures and looks realistic.

LEGO Fan and talented Sci-fi MOC builder I Scream Clone shared this large and amazing Sci-fi creation in his flickr.com photo-stream. The diorama includes huge amount of details with interesting colors and tons of alien figures. Monorail around the buildings is a nice touch to the scene too. According to the description this MOC is built for the Sydney Brick Show 2016.

 

I especially liked the bilboards made of bricks.

Members of InnovaLUG has completed a collaboration project in which they built buildings from the Age of Empires a very succesful real time strategy game. The buildings include a archery range built by Mark of Falworth, a mill built by The Dunedain98, a market built by David FNJ, a barracks built by Andrew JN, a mine built by Aaron Gomez, a blacksmith built by Michael the juggler and my favourite a dock built by soccersnyderi. As a fan of the game I can say that the MOC's are incredibly accurate to the designs from the game.
