This amazing roman style temple MOC, namely Temple of Divus Julius was recently shared by talented lego fan Antonio Cerretti a.k.a. Praetorian- in his flickr.com photostream. As a fan of greco-roman architecture I love to see building models like this in LEGO form. From columns to golden details this MOC looks magnificant.

Microscale Home of the God

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Jens Ohrndorf buily a microscale model of a church. In nomine patris includes so many different usage of parts to create a wonderful harmony. Design of the dome is impressive as well. I liked especially the usage of reddish brown plate pieces for the door to simulate the look of  an engraved wooden door.

The MOC is called "NinjaGo Swamp City" and includes character minifigures from the theme as well. The shaping and textures on the buildings make the creation outstanding and the swamp makes it look natural. According to the description this MOC was Legoworld Utrecht 2016.

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Deus Otiosus shared this impressive micro-scale diorama in his photo-stream featuring an art from a Magic: The Gathering card. The black lake and the micro scale antique-age building were greatly but the highlight is the giant zombi turtle built with actual shield pieces on sides. I also liked the black colored micro tress built using minifigure hand pieces. Check out the original card art here.

Temple of Oxomoco by Wookiewarrior

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Wookieewarrior has recently shared a vignette about Aztecs. The real god of Aztecs named Oxomoco whose temple is sorrounded with greeneries and very near to be ruined. I mostly liked the side arched tile-builded threshold and headlighted one too. Wookiewarrior perfectly created the landscape too.

Impressive Roman Building Complex by Antonio Cerretti

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Antonio Cerretti a.k.a. Praetorian- shared this huge and amazing ancient Roman themed MOC in his photo stream last week. There are tons of beautiful details to point out. I really like the colored stripes on the walls and the golden details on the head of the columns. The brickwork on the floor inside the temple is impressive as well. Statues with different poses are also nice and accurate addition. There is also a small army inside the building complex as well. This is absolutely one of the greatest historical building MOC's of the year.

Temple Arrival by Mihai Marius Mihu

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Mihai Marius Mihu recently shared this beautiful Roman temple MOC in his photo-stream. I especially like the white minifigure statues which looks like they are made out of marble stone. Dark red back-grounds behind the statues are also a nice touch and makes the statues even more interesting. I also liked the golden details on the roof sections as well.

Travelling to Ancient Ages

A Classical Greek Polis

LEGO Fan and historic MOCmaker Simon Schweyer has recently created a spectecular MOC like his previous ones, named A Classical Greek Polis. He built this MOC for Kockice Brick-story Contest and tried to represent us an Ancient Greece diorama.

MOC includes great builds like workers which gather wines from wineyard, a Santorini-styled house, a trireme, a statue, a theater and a temple. I especially liked the golden domed build which seems like the real one which I live very near to, and Santorini-styled house.
