I always sort of liked revamps of old LEGO sets built with modern techniques. If they are built nicely they have the nostalgia and the aesthetic look at the same time. LEGO fan and flickr.com user jaapxaap did a really great job on his latest work, a revamp of the Stone Tower Bridge (6089) castle set. According to the description this MOC was built for The Tourney 2017 in MOCpages. The color-combination and the texturing of the structures was done nicely. I also liked how the roofs were built using small connector tube pieces. The original version had very large slope pieces to form the cliff but the jaapxaap was able to do it building a wall with an angle and that also look interesting. Using Shredders helmet and shoulder spikes to form purist custom figures and using nexo power tile  (Ice dragon power tile was used. Maybe another tile with red color would fit better.) as a symbol on the gate are other interesting ideas used in this MOC.

This amazing castle MOC was built as a collaboration of flickr.com user and LEGO fans Ben Cossy and Eli a.k.a. É.Ɓ. for Brickvention 2017. The detailing on the wall is done greatly and there is also lots of impressive rock formations and vegetation on the diorama as well. Two shades of bluish-gray gives the wall a nice look together with black colored roof on top of the towers. There is also a small town inside the walls where you can see a lot of small interesting details. 

The smoke out of chimney is built using white snake pieces which is something I haven't seen before. I also like how the pavement around the tree was done. The 1x1 tile pieces are not fully stacked to the ground which makes it look more realistic for a historical scene. The river that flows through the village and the outer wall is also a great addition to the creation as well. Inside the keep there is also a hall full of figures and details as well. J.R.R. Tolkien created a massive world for our brains and imagination. Jonas Kramm is a well-talented builder who inpires from Tolkien's world to create a model of Halls of Thranduil. Jonas build a huge diarama which includes 3 different places of Elves. The Garden, The Gate and inside the building is well-orgnaized and processed by different techniques to create Elvish Architecture. I mostly liked high arched building inside the hall.

LEGO fan and flickr.com user Tirrell Brown a.k.a. Blufiji who was previously blogged here with another amazing creation named Evenfall Castle, shared this awesome oriental style desert castle named Qar Riwa in his photo-stream. The color of the castle walls match the sands of the desert which makes this castle look really authentic. The texture of the structure and the half cylindrical walls on the side makes this even more impressive.

Normally I'm not a fan of new Nexo Knights theme but flickr.com member Henry F. created an incredible Nexo Knights MOC last week. Nexo Recon Hub shows us a section of a Knight's Castle area which includes some robots and troops. Creation has some space blue and space orange colors in it. The whole design looks perfect with simple details. This castle is an extraordinary entry for the contest  named Flag of your kingdom in Classic-castle.com.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Tim Schwalfenberg who is be our guest on this blog for several times, created an another awesome project named Wizard's Gate. This monochrome build have interesting wall technique with flawless rocky ground. I mostly liked the smooth pathway through the arched gate.

One of our recent guest of honor John Snyder a.k.a. jsnyder002 recently shared this beautiful castle MOC in his flickr.com photo-stream. According to the description this is a collaboration tugether with his brother Isaac for the YOMB display. The light tan - light bluish gray color combo turn out very well and the wall texturing is really beautiful. Small white sections are also interesting additions that make this castle unique. With the round white tower the castle has a oriental feel to it. The castle has a nice view from all angles. Check out this video shared by Beyond the Brick Youtube channel for more details.

One of our guest of honors, Paul Trach a.k.a. Disco86 recently shared this outstanding interior vignette featuring Krennic's Stardestroyer from the upoming Star Wars movie Rogue One. The the custom figure for Krennic and imperial death troopers were built very well but what I liked the most are the texturing on the walls and and the floor. The unique shape of the window in combination with perfect background lights is amazing as well

One of our guest of honor, jsnyder002 shared this beautiful historcial fantasy diorama named "Life in Nordheim" in his flickr.com photo-stream. The diorama is huge and full with details like a wooden boat under construction, nicely designed houses, a part of a stone wall with great texture and a mountain with a interior. I also like the addition of classic green dragons into the diorama very much.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com user Bricktease shared this very detailed medieval MOC which contains two different medieval buildings and part of a gate of a castle. The king and queen left the castle to explore the town with their guards. One of the building which seems like a tavern has a great roof with 1x1 round brick technique. The other building is likely to Mediterranean building with tan and yellow color scheme. The Market Gate is absolutely perfect where you can find many details with a closer look.

This beautiful castle surrounded by colorful trees was recently shared by Eurobricks member and flickr.com user Tirrell Brown a.k.a. Blufiji. The texture on the walls and the vegetation are done with great detail and highlights of the MOC. The rock formation around the castle was built very natural. According to the description this Castle is built for the Guilds of Historica in Eurobricks.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member Wookieewarrior has recently created a scene from mysterious Hobbit town, Hobbiton. Every MOCer know that it is very hard to create a rounded doorframe but he did it well! I mostly liked the deformed wall outside the building and cute chimney.

LEGO fan and flickr.com member brickbink shared these two great oriental building MOC's in his photo-stream. Both of the MOC's a are designed greatly using different texturing techniques. White motives on the mosque walls are done nicely with small arch pieces which is unique for this MOC. The color selection is very well done in both MOC's 

I especially like the door section on this one. Using different sizes of arch pieces together to create a oriental looking gate is a great idea The terrain is also textured and detailed with small plants. I like this tree more than the tree in the mosque because the other one has a circular hole on the trunk.

LEGO Fan and flickr.com member W. Navarre who has created MOC's in past with his wonderful wall technique, published a new creation called TT:R3: Isla Cruces in his photo stream. His latest work basically revamps old Pirates of  the Caribbean set 4183: The Mill. He created a mill with unique building technique and he also perfectly designed the interior too.

I most liked the inhomogeneous design of the door and also the war scene which occured in stairs.
